About usWindermere Ice Cream - Steven Duffin 015394 47876Windermere Ice cream have been manufacturing ice cream for over 10 years and in 2005 linked up with Low Sizergh Barn to use organic milk. We consistently make around 32 flavours of fresh dairy ice cream and sorbets, but experimenting with new ideas and fulfilling chef's requests is an ongoing job. Last summer we introduced Raspberry Ripple which was very popular and will remain on the list as a firm favourite. This season the first new flavour on the list is Honey and Lavender which has gone down a treat. The majority of our ice cream is made for scooping, but we also do a small range in 1 litre tubs and 10msg individual portion tubs. The chocolates are a small part of the business but do fit in nicely with the ice cream. To keep them as fresh as possible we have a select range which is made to order. All the chocolates are hand dipped, rolled or piped for decoration which makes them that extra bit special and tasty. They have a unit on the Mill Yard,Staveley and an ice cream van at Tarn Hows on the National Trust car park. |
